Horses

Our herd sire, Gunnar, is a buckskin Quarter Horse with a pedigree that goes back to PlayGun(a Freckles Playboy) and Boonlight Dancer. He is one of the most quiet minded horses I have ever worked with.

The broodmares are all of using horse type breeding and are run along side the cows in the pasture. These horses are no frills and have to earn their keep. We have a live pasture breeding program that runs from May 15-July 15 to produce foals that are raised on green grass.
